Hi, I’m Lauren — but around here, they call me Mimmy.
I never expected God to call me into a blended family story — one full of joy, stretching, and the kind of beautiful chaos that keeps you leaning on His grace. Somewhere along the way, I became “Mimmy” to a house full of kids… and a heart full of lessons I never could have learned any other way.
Stepmom life is beautiful.
Stepmom life is hard.
Most days, it’s both.
Mimmy & Me was created as a place for women navigating the real tension of blending a family to finally breathe again.

What You’ll Find Here
This isn’t a space for perfect routines, picture-ready homes, or “try harder” advice.
Here, you’ll find:
- Real talk about stepmom life, marriage, co-parenting, and blended family dynamics
- Faith-rooted encouragement that sees the hard parts without letting them define you
- Practical tools to bring more peace, connection, and predictability into your home
- Helpful resources like the Stepmom Starter Kit and 100 Ways to Connect
— created to help you move from surviving to slowly rebuilding joy
My hope is that as you read, you feel seen, supported, and not so alone in the journey.
A Little About Me
I’m a wife, a stepmom, a bio mom, and the woman trying to remember what’s in the crockpot while mediating who gets the blue cup.
I believe:
- God is present in both the giggles and the gut punches
- Love in a blended family is not second-best — it’s fiercely chosen
- You don’t have to be perfect to be a faithful, steady, grace-filled stepmom
I don’t have all the answers.
But I’m walking this road too — and I’m committed to sharing what I learn along the way.
